Attempted Robbery at a business in the Goodwood area. The lady working at this particular business premises was walking outside. The suspect came from behind and tried to grab the chain off her neck. The employee screamed and shouted and the other employees came outside to see what is going on. They immediately pressed our panic button and phoned our control room. Response Officer Meyer was 2 blocks away from the scene and stood down within seconds. Another GAP vehicle was dispatched to back Officer Meyer up. An attempted robbery case was opened. SAPS arrested the suspect and took her away. Great response Officer Meyer!! #TeamGAP
